Kurskenergo increases the number of completed grid connection contracts

08.08.2019

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” summed up the work on connection to the company’s power grids for 6 months of 2019.

During the reporting period, the branch’s specialists accepted 1,150 applications for grid connection, concluded 857 contracts. 833 contracts for a total capacity of 15.5 MW were completed.

Most of the executed contracts (98%) were contracts with individuals, small and medium-sized businesses in the category of applicants for grid connection up to 150 kW.

Currently, the Russian legislation for small businesses with customer contract demand of up to 150 kW has established a simplified connection procedure. The calculation of the cost of grid connection fees for them is carried out at preferential rates approved by the Committee on Tariffs and Prices of the Kursk Region.

The largest connected facilities of the first half of 2019 included: Urozhay Limited Liability Company (0.6 MW) and Closed Joint-Stock Company Rylskaya (0.4 MW). In general, over 0.4 km of power lines were constructed for their power supply and a 630 MVA transformer substation was put into operation.

Of the socially significant institutions, electricity was provided to a rural health post in the village of Peschanoe of Belovsky district, water supply facilities in Kursky and Octyabrsky districts of the Kursk region, etc.

“The proceeds from the grid connection are used to connect new applicants’ power installations to the company’s grid, and to reconstruct and re-equip the Kursk region’s electric grid complex,” stresses Deputy Director for Sale and Development of Services of Kurskenergo Sergey Sevryukov.

On the website mrsk-1.ru you can submit an online application for grid connection through the client’s personal account or through the portal of electric grid services, which can significantly simplify the process of grid connection and reduce the number of face-to-face visits to customer offices.
