The sixth season of student crews was closed at the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo”. The solemn line-up was attended by members of the student crew “Energetic”, heads of the branch and Southwestern State University, and representatives of the youth council of the enterprise.
Speaking to the students, Alexander Rudnevsky, Deputy General Director - Director of Kurskenergo, noted that the skills acquired at the facilities of the enterprise will be a good help for those who choose the power engineering profession. “Work at such a large enterprise as Kurskenergo is an excellent professional start. Our profession will always be in demand and honourable, people who know and love their job work here. We hope that after graduation you will join their ranks,” he emphasized.
Summing up the work of the student crew, the head of the human resources department Lyudmila Mokrousova noted that the young people coped with all the tasks assigned, showed themselves as responsible and executive employees. “It's nice to see that the young generation is eager for knowledge and real practical experience. At our enterprise such qualities are highly appreciated. I think the future of energy is in good hands.”
As part of the event, the young people visited the Museum of the History of Energy of the Kursk region, where they learned about the important stages in the formation of the energy industry in the region. The students also visited Kurskenergo’s Grid Control Centre (GCC), where they got acquainted with the operational-technological management system of the region’s electric grid complex.
“In Kurskenergo we were accepted as full members of the team, mentors willingly shared their practical skills and knowledge. For us, as beginning power engineers, this is an invaluable experience,” said Nikolay Kolosov, the commander of the student crew “Energetic-2019”.
