The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” has launched exercises on working out interaction during emergency response in the electric grid complex of Buisky Distribution Zone. The opening ceremony was attended by heads of Kostromaenergo and structural subdivisions, heads of administrations of the city of Bui and Buisky district Igor Ralnikov and Alexander Alexandrov.
Crews of specialists of distribution grids from 10 Distribution Zones of Kostromaenergo, provided with specialized equipment - towers, aerial platforms, onboard vehicles, are taking part in the exercises. The decision to conduct the exercises was made following a meeting of the Headquarters of Kostromaenergo, where reports on the state of failures in 0.4-10 kV grids of the district and on the need to take measures to repair distribution grids to eliminate the causes of outages were heard. According to Dmitry Prokhorov, Deputy General Director and Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”, the exercises are aimed at improving the reliability of power supply and reducing technical and commercial losses. “In addition, they will provide an opportunity to develop skills for prompt response to natural disasters and recovery in the shortest possible time of energy supply in any district of the region,” added the head of Kostromaenergo. The exercises will end in late August.
