The branch “Rosseti Centre Yarenergo” for half a year completed 54% of the total repair program in 2019

01.08.2019

For 6 months of the current year, Yaroslavl power engineers repaired more than 500 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV power lines and 171 6-10 kV transformer substations. They replaced 2,019 insulators, cleared 748 hectares of routes along overhead power lines from trees and shrubs. Among the significant facilities that are undergoing major and current repairs are the substations 110/6 kV “Polygraphmash”, 110/6 kV “Shipyard”, 110/6 kV “Gavrilov-Yam”.

At the “Polygraphmash” and “Shipyard” substations, which provide electricity to residential areas and industrial enterprises of the city of Rybinsk, 6 kV switchgear, 22 6 kV switches, and two 110 kV circuit breakers were repaired. Until the end of the year, four 110/6 kV transformers, 110 kV current transformers, and three 110 kV circuit breakers will be repaired. The 110/6 kV substation “Gavrilov-Yam” provides electricity to 19 thousand residents and enterprises of the city of the same name. Currently, overhaul of three 6 kV switches has been carried out at the power facility, and six 6 kV arresters have been replaced. It is also planned to carry out ongoing repairs of two power transformers and two 110 kV voltage transformers during the year.

This year, one of the largest projects of the investment program of the branch “Yarenergo” is the second stage of reconstruction of the 110/35/10 kV substation “Abbakumtsevo”. To date, they have completed the construction of an oil receiver, a base for a transformer, installation of a 110 kV disconnector, a 10 kV circuit breaker, and a ground loop at the substation. After completion of all planned work, the substation capacity will increase by 6 MVA, which will eliminate the power shortage and improve the reliability of power supply to 149 settlements of Yaroslavlsky and Nekrasovsky districts.

In total for six months, the Yaroslavl power engineers completed 54% of the total 2019 repair program. High-quality and timely implementation of overhaul and current repairs, as well as the modernization of electric grid facilities, is the key to successful completion of the upcoming autumn-winter period in the region.
