Significant funds of the investment program are directed to the construction of the grid infrastructure within grid connection of power installations of consumers. So, according to the results of the first half of the year, more than 35 kilometres of power lines of different voltage levels were put into operation. Among the largest projects is the construction of a 10 kV overhead line of the 35/10 kV substation “Molotychi” for grid connection of a facility of the agro-industrial complex of LLC “Miratorg-Kursk”. In total, the aggregate capacity of the reconstructed and constructed power facilities in the interests of consumers since the beginning of the current year has been 2.2 MVA.

The priority direction of the branch’s investment program is the implementation of digital transformation activities, in particular, the creation of the Unified Grid Control Centre (UGCC), which will allow operating personnel to monitor the status of power grid facilities online, remotely coordinate the work of first responding mobile and repair crews, and analyze power quality parameters. At present, a contract has been concluded with a contracting organization for commissioning the UGCC building, landscaping is being carried out, and the interior is being reconstructed. In total, Kurskenergo plans to allocate 43 million rubles for design and survey work on the UGCC creation.
