Student crews of Lipetskenergo - on guard of safe childhood

23.07.2019

More than a hundred children became participants in the electrical safety lesson at the “Yelochka” health camp.

Members of the student crew of the branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskeneg” held an electrical safety lesson for children who rest in the “Yelochka” children’s recreation camp. The young power engineers told the kids when electricity can be dangerous if you do not follow the rules for handling it. The guys found out what danger is posed by faulty electrical appliances and bare wires, why it is impossible to climb poles, move closer to substations and broken wires, fish under power lines and play near them. The members of the student crew also demonstrated methods of providing first aid to the victim from the effects of electric current, showed a training themed cartoon and taught the meaning of warning signs. The participants of the lesson in the quiz on the knowledge of electrical safety rules consolidated their knowledge. In memory of the meeting, the power engineers gave each child exciting and useful souvenirs.

“Electric current: friend or foe? It gives us light and heat. It is our indispensable assistant in life. But many people suffer from electric shock every year. Children who know little about the dangers of games near power facilities and in everyday life are especially at risk. Therefore, the work on the prevention of electrical injuries is so important and it needs to be carried out systematically,” stressed Ekaterina Panarina, the commander of the “Iskra” student energy crew.

Until the end of the summer, more than forty electrical safety measures have been planned in Lipetskenergo.
