The branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” carries out repair of equipment of large feeding centres

23.07.2019

In total, in 2019 it is planned to repair the equipment at 49 substations of 35-110 kV. The work is being carried out in strict accordance with the annual schedule of the maintenance and repair program of Tverenergo. All measures are aimed at ensuring the reliability of electric grid facilities and stable trouble-free operation of power equipment during the winter maximum temperatures.

For 6 months of the current year, at the 110/35/10 kV “Rassvet” substation, a power transformer and equipment of 35 kV switchgear was repaired. This substation is a significant link in the railway communication, being a source of power for facilities of the October Railway.

6-10 kV low-voltage switchgear equipment was repaired at the 110/10 kV “Proletarskaya” substation and the 110/35/6 kV “Krasnokino” substation, providing electricity to consumers in Proletarsky district of the city of Tver and the settlement of Redkino. At the moment, repair work is being carried out at 110 kV circuit breakers.

Repair of 35 kV equipment was completed at the 110/35/10 kV “Tuchevo” and “Toropets” substations. The “Tuchevo” substation is an important electric grid facility, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the Tuchevo oil pumping station in Rameshkovsky district. The “Toropets” substation feeds consumers of Toropetsky district of the Tver region.

A power transformer was repaired at the 110/35/10 kV “Rzhev” substation. This feeding centre is the main source of power supply for socially significant facilities of the city of Rzhev.

Prior to the beginning of the autumn-winter period, it is planned to repair the second 40MVA power transformer at the 110/35/10 kV “Rzhev” substation. Repair of 10-35-110 kV switchgear at the 10-35-110kV substations “Rassvet”, “Redkino”, “Proletarskaya”, “Nikola-Rozhok”, “Tuchevo” and “Toropets” will continue. In total, about four more 110 kV power transformers and three 110 kV breakers will be repaired.

“Substations, as feeding centres, are the main link in the power supply system of consumers. High-quality and timely repair of their equipment is the key to successful completion of the autumn-winter period of 2019-2020,” stresses Manvel Mazhonts, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo”. “The power engineers use the most up-to-date reliable methods and technologies, which allow ensuring stable operation of the power grid complex in the Tver region during the winter maximum temperatures.”
