In the first half of the year Kurskenergo repaired 1,185 km of power lines and 161 transformer substations

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” summed up the implementation of the repair program for the first half of 2019. The branch fulfilled a number of key measures of the document in excess of planned targets.

The power engineers repaired 1,185 km of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines, 161 10/0.4 kV transformer substations (159 as planned), 84 10-0.4 kV transformers (81 as planned), 103 10-110 kV switches, 78 isolating switches, short-circuiting switches and disconnectors.

During this period, the branch’s specialists replaced 8,987 insulators of 0.4-110 kV, 58 support-rod insulators at substations of 35-110 kV, cleared more than 523 hectares of routes.

In total, over the course of the year, Kurskenergo plans to overhaul 313 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV and 1,712.8 km of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV, clear 786.6 hectares of routes along overhead power lines of 0.4 -110 kV. About 248 million rubles are planned to be spent on the repair campaign in 2019.

“The implementation of Kurskenergo’s repair program will ensure the quality and reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the Kursk region, and will greatly contribute to the smooth and stable operation of the branch’s power grid complex during the autumn-winter peak load period,” stressed the deputy chief engineer for production assets management and development of the branch Alexander Muratov.
