The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” continues the sixth labour season of the student crew “Energetic”. 14 students of specialized educational institutions of Kursk and the Kursk region learn the basics of their future profession in production departments of the branch.
After completing an initial briefing on labour protection and fire safety, the guys, under the guidance of experienced mentors, took up their duties. The first group of students performs work on admission to operation of metering devices (meters) - for two weeks they made more than 200 acts of the admission to the operation of new smart meters installed at consumers’ premises of Kursky Distribution Zone.
The second group deals with update and adjustment of single-line diagrams of overhead lines of 0.4 kV: students use special graphic programs to apply symbols of poles, brands and sections of wires, single-phase and three-phase consumers. The third group is involved in removing cutting residues when clearing routes as part of a repair crew of Lgovsky Distribution Zone.
The labour shift for the students will last until the end of July. Also, in addition to gaining practical professional experience, the members of the construction crew “Energetic” will take part in student creative contests for the best photo work, the best team song, and also for the best construction crew of the power grid complex.
