The branch “Rosseti Centre Bryanskenergo” is working on the creation of a unified grid control centre (UGCC), which will result in a significant increase in the observability and controllability of power grid facilities.
Measures to reform the operational and technological management system are carried out by the company’s power engineers as part of the implementation of one of the key projects of the Digital Transformation Concept 2030 and the Concept of Development of the System for the Operational, Technological and Situational Management in the power grid complex of PJSC Rosseti.
To date, employees of the branch from 28 control centres, which are in each district of the region, monitor the state of power lines in the Bryansk region. The creation of the UGCC will bring the grid management to a qualitatively new level - the competences of managing the transmission and distribution grid of the region will be concentrated at one point. Dispatchers of Bryanskenergo online will be able to monitor the work of more than 26 thousand kilometres of power lines, analyze parameters of power quality and current voltage data at the consumer’s premises. It is expected that the work of the UGCC, which will use the latest technologies and systems, will significantly reduce the response time to technological disruption in the grid.
The UGCC will be located on one of the floors of the central office of Bryanskenergo. It will be equipped with modern information systems and digital communication channels. More than ten dispatchers will work there simultaneously. The first phase of the UGCC construction is scheduled for completion in September.
