Kurskenergo’s employee received a state award

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Alexey Kirienkov, a dispatcher of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo”, was awarded a second-class medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland. The power engineer was given the award “for the achieved labour success, vigorous social activities and many years of diligent work”.

Alexey Kirienkov has been working at Kurskenergo for more than 27 years. He took an active part in the implementation of large projects of the branch related to the operational dispatch control of equipment and power lines of 35-110 kV of the branch. In particular, he participated in conducting operational switching when commissioning after equipping with modern equipment of the 110 kV substations “Rodniki”, “Kotelnaya” and “Tsentralnaya”.

Over the past ten years, under his leadership, targeted programs were implemented to replace outdated substation equipment and 35-110 kV power lines. Repeatedly, with his direct participation, technological violations in electrical grids were eliminated with the least losses for the enterprise. Thanks to the professional work of the power engineer, the downtime of high-voltage lines decreased significantly, the undersupply of electricity was reduced - only in 2017 Kurskenergo saved about 400 thousand rubles.

As a highly qualified specialist with extensive practical experience, Alexey Kirienkov shares it with young specialists of the branch. For conscientious work and high production rates, he was repeatedly rewarded by the management of the company and the company with diplomas and letters of thanks. In 2005, he was put to the Honour Board of Kurskenergo.

The state award has become the highest rating of labour merit of Alexey V. Kirienkov.
