09.07.2019

The first working days of participants in student energy crews began in the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo”.

At present, the power engineers are training the guys for exams for assignment of the second group of electrical safety and the subsequent admission to work at power facilities. In addition, under the guidance of experienced mentors of Distribution Zones of the branch, the students began to comprehend the practical basics of the energy profession.

Together with electricity metering crews of Tverenergo, the guys will take readings of consumers’ metering devices. The students will also learn to assemble and install metering devices.

Another area of activity of the members of the student energy crews will be participation in the work on overhaul of electrical grid equipment of distribution grids. The members of the student energy crews will be able to acquire skills and experience in assembling 0.4 kV switchgear at a newly installed substation.

The students will also be engaged in the manufacture of special warning signs installed at power facilities in the framework of Tverenergo’s program for prevention of third-party electrical injuries.

The specifics of the areas of work for the members of the student energy crews were not chosen by chance - one of the main tasks currently facing “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” is to combat commercial energy losses, namely, non-metered and non-contractual consumption. In addition, the summer months are an active phase of the implementation of repair programs in preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period, as well as time of special attention to preventive measures taken to avoid third-party electrical injuries.

It should be noted that in addition to the production of everyday life, the guys will be able to take part in the sports and cultural life of Tverenergo. In the near future, the students will join the annual tourist gathering of the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre.
