Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo division* officially opened the sixth summer labour season of the student crew “Energy”. The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of Tambovenergo and Tambov State Technical University (TSTU), active members of the Youth Council of the branch.
For one and a half months, 16 students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions will work at energy facilities of the company.
Igor Polyakov, Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo division, addressed to members of the crew “Energy” with a welcoming speech: “This is a very important day! Today you start working in the workforce of Tambov power engineers - a large team of professionals. Ahead is a hot and eventful working summer that will be memorable for each of you. Many events await you, where everyone will be able to realize their potential and feel like a part of a friendly team of power engineers!”
“Tambovenergo has been cooperating with the Institute of Energy, Instrument Engineering and Radio Electronics of TSTU for several years. This fruitful joint work helps students discover something new. The tradition of construction crews of TSTU has been around for decades, and our members have always been an example for their fellow students and the pride of the university,” stressed Tatiana Chernyshova, Director of the Institute of Energy, Instrument Engineering and Radio Electronics.
The solemn event ended with the awarding of labour permits to the members of the crew “Energy”. This year, the crew will work at facilities of Tambovsky, Uvarovsky, Kirsanovsky and Rasskazovsky Distribution Zones. The guys will take part in the check and repair of equipment of transformer substations, in updating dispatching names and conducting scheduled inspections of 10/0.4 kV overhead power lines, checking and taking meter readings, removing logging residues while clearing routes and other work.
“Some of the members are not the first time participating in the work of the construction crew “Energy”, which consists of students of TSTU. Today, their ranks are replenished by students of secondary specialized educational institutions. I would also like to note that this year for the first time a girl joined our crew. We hope that, in the future, the crew “Energy” will only increase, adding new members. We will try to do everything so that this labour semester becomes a good production and life experience for young people,” stressed Deputy General Director of Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
