The grand opening of the sixth labour season of student construction crews took place at Rosseti Centre - Tverenergo division.
Warm words and wishes at the solemn line-up were expressed by First Deputy Director of the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre Andrey Samoilov, and Director of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Konakovo Energy College Nikolay Fayrushin, who thanked Rosseti Centre for many years of cooperation, the opportunity to participate in the movement of student energy crews and wished the guys fruitful work experience.
The crew commanders received labour permits for work at the branch’s electric power facilities, as well as a symbol of the opening of the labour season - the power engineering helmets.
This year, five student crews were formed in Tverenergo. In the first, “Atlas”, students from the Tver State Technical University will work. In the second crew, “Prometheus”, the production experience will be acquired by guys from the Konakovo Energy College. The “Tesla” crew is represented by students of the Bezhetsk Industrial and Economic College. Students of the Nelidov College formed the “Edison Generation” crew. The fifth was the crew “Electrician” of the Udomlya College.
All of them passed a serious selection, as a result of which the best of the best got into the team of students’ construction crews. Within one and a half months, performing production work in the formed crews in the summer, the students will be able to acquire the first skills of the future profession. The students will be assigned mentors from among experienced workers. Before the beginning of the summer labour season, all members will be given instructions on labour protection and fire safety.
The first steps on the working path and acquaintance with energy on this day for the young people began with a visit to Tverenergo’s Grid Control Centre, where Alexander Khlyzov, the deputy head of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre for operating work, told the students of the construction crews about the features of the operation and the structure of the power grid complex, large power facilities, and also interesting and responsible work of dispatchers who regulate the activities of first responding mobile crews and control the situation in the region.
The opening ceremony of the working season and the tour to the Grid Control Centre ended with a trip to the 110/10 kV “Lebedevo” substation commissioned in 2014. The guys were able to see the new equipment that meets the most modern requirements for reliability, durability and ease of operation and is used at the newest power facilities.

Tverenergo is interested in the development of the student construction movement and is ready to provide support to young specialists,” stressed Andrey Samoilov, First Deputy Director of the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre.
