Rosseti Centre - Kostromaenergo division* held the grand opening of the sixth labour season of student crews. Members of Kostromaenergo’s crew “Energy 44” were welcomed by Deputy General Director of Rosseti Centre - Kostromaenergo division director Dmitry Prokhorov, Rector of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy (KGSHA) Sergey Zudin and Director of the Kostroma Energy Technical School Tatiana Andrianova.
This summer the student crew of Rosseti Centre - Kostromaenergo division has replenishment: senior students of the Volgorechensk industrial technical school and Kostroma energy technical school named after F.V. Chizhov joined the students of KGSHA who worked there earlier. The crew has 25 people. The guys will be involved in routine inspections of transformer substations, checking power lines, taking readings of electricity metering devices, building power lines.
The head of Kostromaenergo handed a work permit to each member of the crew. “Student crews are a real forge of personnel. We are happy to give you, future energy industry specialists, the opportunity to acquire not only the practical skills necessary for work, but also to become entrenched in the confidence that, having entered the profession, you made the right life choice,” Dmitry Prokhorov stressed in his welcoming speech.
The commander of Energy 44, Kirill Gorodash, aimed the members at a positive result: “Our goal is to prove ourselves well and to show in practice everything that we have been taught. We are very pleased that we have the opportunity to gain experience in such a large, dynamically developing enterprise.” According to Kirill, now all the guys from his crew are planning to link their lives with energy.
The season of student crews in Kostromaenergo will last from 1 July to 31 July. The members will start work after passing the initial briefing on labour protection and fire safety and familiarizing themselves with the rules of internal labour regulations.
