24.06.2019

Rosseti Centre - Belgorodenergo provided the requested electrical capacity of 149.90 kW to the cultural and historical complex “City-fortress “Yablonov”.

To connect the facility to the centralized power supply, the power engineers constructed about one hundred metres of overhead and cable power lines and installed a package transformer substation of 10/0.4 kV with a power transformer of 160 kVA. The main power source is the 35/10 kV Yablonovo substation.

The facilities of electricity consumption will be lighting, process equipment, electric heating, ventilation, and water heaters located within the complex.

For reference

The construction of the key defensive point of the Belgorod checkpoint began on the territory of the present Korochansky district near the village of Yablonovo on 16 April 1637. The fortress was supposed to block the road to the Crimean Tatars and Nogais, who at that time often made raids on Russia. During the reconstruction, builders reconstructed a complex of 25 buildings close to the original of the 17th century, including fortress towers with a wall and a gallery, a guard hut, shopping malls, craft workshops, a bell tower, etc. All the buildings are made of round timber, growing in the Arkhangelsk region.
