On the regional “Safety Day” specialists from Belgorodenergo reminded the children of the rules for handling electricity

Participants of an entertaining lesson on prevention of electrical injuries were children resting in the children’s camp named after Gagarin. Power engineers of Rosseti Centre - Belgorodenergo told about the rules of conduct near power lines and substations, reminded of the dangers associated with the effects of electric current on the human body.

The schoolchildren e learned how dangerous fishing under power lines is, rash selfie or graffiti on walls of high-voltage substations, which signs warn of the danger of electric shock, what a “goose step” is and how to get out of the dangerous area of ​​damage that formed around a broken wire.

The children consolidated the theory in practice by completing several tasks to determine the correct model of behaviour in a difficult life situation. At the end of the lesson, all the participants received the book “Energolandia”, in a poetic form telling about the rules for dealing with electricity.

“Safety Days” aimed at preventing injuries during the summer holidays are held in all municipalities of the region. In order to warn children against unforgivable and dangerous pranks, to teach the proper handling of electricity, Belgorodenergo’s employees plan to spend at least 60 preventive lessons during the holidays.
