Kurskenergo checked the organization of safe labour

Rosseti Centre - Kurskenergo division held the Day of Labour Safety. The event is held with the aim of ensuring control over compliance by personnel with labour protection rules and safety requirements, prevention of industrial injuries and improvement of work culture.

Special commissions consisting of technical managers of Kurskenergo checked compliance with the established work and rest schedule of staff, as well as the provision of employees with working clothes, shoes, personal protective equipment, devices, tools, first aid kits.

Particular attention was paid to the quality of the targeted briefing, as well as the correctness of filling the work permit and clearance. In addition, the list of issues covered by the test included checking the knowledge of the layout of the assigned equipment and the features of its operation in the summer period, the elaboration of the connection diagrams of backup power sources at socially significant facilities. The organization of inspections of overhead lines in places inaccessible for the passage of vehicles, the status of switchgear and control gear and the implementation of measures to ensure their safe maintenance, the status of 110-35 kV substation fencing (integrity, availability of warning signs, the presence of locks on doors (gates).

According to the results of the Labour Safety Day, employees of the industrial safety and production control department of Kurskenergo developed a list of measures to eliminate the revealed violations. Verification of their implementation will be held during the next event, which will be held in July this year.

“The events held within the framework of the Occupational Safety Days are aimed at ensuring safe working conditions for employees of Rosseti Centre - Kurskenergo division, preserving their life and health,” stresses Igor Abramov, the head of the occupational safety service of Kurskenergo.
