17.06.2019

Rosseti Centre - Kurskenergo division pays great attention to the implementation of a program to reduce the risk of injury to third parties at power facilities of Rosseti Centre. One of the important components of this work is lessons of electrical safety, which specialists of the branch conduct in schools and children’s health and school camps in Kursk and the Kursk region. Particular attention is paid by the power engineers to conducting thematic classes during the summer holidays.

One of such classes was held in the children’s recreation camp “Monolith” of Korenevsky district of the Kursk region. It was attended by 215 children aged 8 to 12 years.

The power engineers told the children why it is impossible to play near electrical installations, to approach dangling wires and transformer substations, and also reminded about electrical safety rules in living conditions. The children also learned why it is impossible to fish near power lines, climb poles of power lines and make selfies on them. To consolidate the basic rules of electrical safety, the lesson participants were shown thematic videos.

During the summer holidays, Kurskenergo’s experts plan to conduct more than 30 lessons of electrical safety, in which about 2,000 children will take part.
