14.06.2019

The event traditionally took place on the basis of the Expocentre of the Voronezh State Agrarian University named after Emperor Peter I with the assistance of the Department of Agrarian Policy and the Department of Labour and Employment of the Voronezh Region. It was attended by graduates and students of senior courses at the Agrarian University, as well as representatives of more than 45 major companies - potential employers.

Specialists of Rosseti Centre - Voronezhenergo division introduced the students to the main activities of the enterprise, highlighting the advantages of working in a large power grid company. First of all, these are favourable working conditions, the current system of measures of social support for power engineers and their family members, special attention paid to the professional and personal development of young professionals.

Commenting on the results of the event, Yevgeny Novikov, the head of the HR department of the Voronezh branch of Rosseti Centre, noted that participation in the Job Fair allows the employer to meet and establish direct contact with a large number of graduates.

“Today Voronezhenergo is implementing a pilot project of digital transformation of the electric grid complex in the region. Therefore, we are more interested than ever in attracting young personnel with relevant knowledge necessary to introduce modern technologies,” he stressed.

The Voronezh branch of Rosseti Centre actively cooperates with specialized educational institutions in the region. This year, an agreement was concluded with the Voronezh Agrarian University, under which the university allocates targeted budget places in the full-time department for teaching students under the specialization “Electrical equipment and electrical technologies in the agro-industrial complex”, and the company guarantees graduates’ employment. In addition, the employer will accompany students at the training stage, supervising their workplace and pre-diploma practice.
