CJSC “Troparevo” has become the largest facility of connection to the grid of Smolenskenergo since the beginning of 2019

IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division continues to provide electricity to consumers in the Smolensk region. For just 4 months of 2019, Smolenskenergo performed 869 contracts for grid connection. The total connected capacity was 16 MW. The overwhelming majority of grid connections (83%) are connections of customers with the maximum power up to 15 kW inclusively, whose payment for grid connection does not exceed 550 rubles.

Smolensk and Yartsevsky districts of the region, as well as the city of Smolensk, became leaders in the number of applicants wishing to connect to the branch’s grid.

According to the data of the grid connection department of Smolenskenergo, CJSC “Troparevo” (Subdivision “Troparevo-Sychevka”) in Sychevsky district became the largest facility connected for 4 months of 2019. The facility is a complex for receiving and processing of grain, which specializes in cultivation of grain crops to provide the feed base for pig-breeding complexes located in the territory of the Smolensk region. The facility was built as part of the investment project of the Smolensk region “Project for the construction of a feed mill with an elevator”. The expected social effect is the creation of about 400 jobs. The maximum power of the connected facility is 1050 kW.

In addition, large connected facilities were a line for production of animal feed (the maximum power of the new grid connection was 120 kW) and a feed preparation shop (150 kW) in Safonovsky district, as well as a hotel in the settlement of Krasny Bor, the city of Smolensk (an increase in power by 110 kW was made up to 150 kW and change of the category of reliability from III to II). Only for the power supply of these energy facilities, several cable and overhead lines were constructed, a 10/0.4 kV transformer substation was installed, and a 6/0.4 kV two-transformer substations was mounted. A large amount of work is performed by the power company by its own staff, that is, using its own resources without involvement of contractors.
