Natalya Sokolova, a leading engineer of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre of Rosseti Centre - Smolenskenergo division, became the winner of the regional competition for the title of the “Best Labour Safety Officer” in 2018. The main purpose of this competition is to spread the experience and improve the forms and methods of work of labour protection officers in organizations of the Smolensk region. During the selection of the best labour protection officers, special attention was paid to their activities in monitoring the implementation of measures stipulated in collective agreements and contracts, increasing the effectiveness of public control over employers’ observance of employees’ legal rights to health and safe working conditions.
Natalya Sokolova began her career in the Smolensk energy system in 1985. For more than 10 years she has been an occupational safety representative, exercising public control over the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of workers in the field of labour protection. She takes an active part in training of newly employed operating personnel, is the deputy chairman of the commission for testing knowledge of the operating personnel of Distribution Zones.
Sabir Agamaliev, Deputy General Director of Rosseti Centre - Smolenskenergo division director, received a letter from Olga Arkhipenkova, Deputy Head of the Department for Social Development of the Smolensk Region. “On behalf of the organizers of the contest, we sincerely congratulate you, Natalya Sokolova and your team on this achievement, and wish you new success in creating safe working conditions in the organization,” the letter says.
In accordance with the regulations on the competition-review, the Department for Social Development of the Smolensk Region will apply for awarding Natalya Sokolova with a letter of thanks from Governor of the Smolensk Region.
