The Governor of the Belgorod region, Yevgeny Savchenko, presented a state award to an electrician for operation of electricity meters of Korochansky Distribution Zone of Rosseti Centre - Belgorodenergo Yury Kushnarev.
The honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” was awarded to Yury Kushnarev for achievements in the field of energy and many years of conscientious work on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 27 February 2019.
When presenting the award, the Governor noted that Yury Kushnarev is a prominent representative of the working group of the Belgorod land: “This is a high-class specialist who has devoted more than 30 years to serving the energy sector of the region.”
Yury Kushnarev, working as an electrician for operation of electricity meters of Korochansky Distribution Zone, participated in the development of power supply schemes and connecting dozens of livestock and poultry farms and socially significant facilities to grids, made a significant contribution to the implementation of automated commercial electricity metering systems in the region, personally installed more than 200 smart metering devices. He repeatedly participated in the elimination of weather disasters, the restoration of electricity supply after passing atmospheric cyclones. Yury Kushnarev shares knowledge and experience accumulated over many years of work in the energy industry of the region with young specialists, shaping the future shift of qualified specialists.
The state award is the highest rating of the merit of labour of Yury Kushnarev.
