Belgorodenergo to allocate 295 million rubles for reconstruction of grids

11.06.2019

This year, Rosseti Centre - Belgorodenergo will spend 295 million rubles with VAT on reconstruction of power lines. The power engineers are modernizing over 100 km of power lines and about 30 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV in 17 locations in the region.

The largest amount of work - 2.5 and 4.2 kilometres of grids - is planned in the settlements of Rovenki and Volokonovka. Instead of bare wire, the power engineers will install reliable and safe self-supporting insulated wire, and outdated poles will be replaced by new ones, including single-rack multifaceted metal poles (R&D of Rosseti Centre), intended for construction of lines in urban areas.

In the settlement of Rovenki, work is being done on the central streets of Victory, Shevchenko, Lenin and M. Gorky, in Volokonovka - on the streets of Pervogvardeiskaya and 60 years of October.

In addition, work on the reconstruction of power lines is planned in Belgorodsky, Starooskolsky, Shebekinsky, Gubkinsky, Valuisky, Borisovsky, Alekseevsky, Prokhorovsky and Ivnyansky districts and the regional centre.

In the first quarter, two distribution points and 6 package transformer substations were installed, and over 20 km of grids were reconstructed, including two 10 kV cable lines with a total length of 6.7 km in Belgorod.

Comprehensive modernization of grids of settlements in the region is carried out annually as part of the program of technical re-equipment and reconstruction. It allows to optimize the existing power supply schemes, at the same time eliminate all shortcomings in the operation of the grid complex and thereby increase the reliability of electricity supply in urban and rural areas.
