Hotline of power engineering specialists:
On the eve of the summer holidays, specialists of Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo division conducted a series of lessons for pupils of educational institutions of the Tambov region on prevention of children’s electrical injuries. More than 700 children from schools in Kirsanovsky, Pichayevsky, Morshansky, Tambovsky and Michurinsky districts took part in such classes.
The power engineers told the schoolchildren about the basic rules of electrical safety and the importance of warning signs installed on electrical equipment. The pupils watched videos about the danger of unauthorized penetration of energy facilities. The children were shown methods of first aid to the victim from effects of electric current.
In the final part of the lesson, the power engineers held thematic contests and quizzes, and also handed specialized brochures and posters to all the schoolchildren.
The lessons of electrical safety are one of the most important activities of the program to reduce the risk of injury to third parties at Tambovenergo’s power facilities.
“During the school year, our employees conduct similar classes in educational institutions, and during the holidays - in children’s health camps. The purpose of such events is not only to acquaint children with electrical safety rules, but also to hold an explanatory conversation with teachers and educators,” stressed Deputy General Director of Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
