IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division continues claim-related work aimed at collecting receivables for electricity transmission and electricity supply services in the Kostroma region. As of 1 May 2019, the overdue receivables of the company amount to 420.3 million rubles.
Kostromaenergo is seeking from the debtors unconditional fulfillment of contractual obligations. Since the beginning of 2019 alone, the company has filed 13 lawsuits totalling 125.16 million rubles (including the amount of the principal debt and penalties). In total, courts of various instances have 30 claims of the power company for a total amount of 378.2 million rubles.
It should be recalled that the actions of defaulters threaten the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the Kostroma region, since Kostromaenergo spends funds from the provision of the electricity transmission service primarily to finance the main production activities. Therefore, the branch intends to consistently seek collection of receivables, using all mechanisms provided for by the current legislation.
