Voronezhenergo’s team won the game “What? Where? When?” among the largest enterprises of Voronezh

The team “Energetic People” of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division won the first place in the “What? Where? When?” tournament, organized by the Administration of Education and Youth Policy of the Voronezh Administration for young specialists of the city enterprises. The intellectual squad of power engineers included Yury Poznakhirin, Alexander Novikov, Evgeniya Boyko, Sergey Naumov, Ivan Zuev and Alexander Chaplygin.

The participants of the tournament were representatives of the largest enterprises of Voronezh: Sibur, South-Eastern Railway, VASO, etc. The game took place in three rounds. In the first round there were questions from the organizers, in the second - from teams dedicated to the history of the Voronezh region, in the third round - complicated questions from the presenter. “Energetic People” correctly answered 15 of 22 questions, becoming the only team to cope with all the tasks of the third “difficult” tour. The power engineers scored 305 points out of 350 possible for all three rounds, being significantly ahead of the other rivals.

The team “What? Where? When?” of Voronezhenergo was formed 10 years ago. It takes part in the tournament of young specialists of enterprises annually and invariably among the best: it has 4 victories and three prizes in its collection.

“Voronezhenergo pays special attention to working with young specialists. It is aimed not only at continuous professional development of employees, improvement of their working skills, but also at intellectual development. Participation in games like “What? Where? When?” gives our young people the opportunity to hone their ability to interact with the team’s members, to make quick decisions collectively within a limited time frame, which will certainly be useful to them in life and work,” stressed Evgeny Novikov, the head of the HR department.
