Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division became prize winners of degree I of the festival of creativity “Step to Success” in the nomination “Literary and musical composition”. The event was organized by the administration of the Central District of the city of Kursk among enterprises, organizations and institutions of the regional centre.
This year, the power engineers presented at the festival a military-patriotic production “Cranes” dedicated to the heroic feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The story told on the stage begins on 22 June 1941, when proms are held all over the country. Yesterday’s schoolchildren are looking to the future, making plans, dreaming, but they have a different fate ... Kurskenergo’s employees: Tatyana Surina, a leading specialist of the business management department, Irina Belik, a leading specialist of the human resources department, were authors of the literary and musical playscript and performance.
The audience took the performance of the Kursk power engineers very warmly. The theatrical skills of the branch’s team were highly appreciated by the jury members. In addition, Alexander Rudnevsky, Deputy General Director - Kurskenergo division director, received a letter of thanks signed by the head of the administration of the Central District of the city of Kursk, expressing appreciation for the personal contribution to the development of culture and art, the realization of the creative potential of the company’s employees and the active participation of Kurskenergo during the festival dedicated to the Year of Theater in Russia.
“Thanks to the participation in such events, our employees have the opportunity to switch from the current working moments to the creative process, developing their cultural potential,” says Lyudmila Mokrousova, the head of the HR department of Kurskenergo. And, of course, it is pleasant that the power engineers have participated in the creative festival “Step to Success” since 2009 and have been constantly among its winners.”
