Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division became winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skills “The Best in Profession” in the nomination “The Best Electrician in Repair and Maintenance of Distribution Grids”. Employees of Joint-Stock Company “United Regional Electric Grids-Tambov” and the Michurinsk Power Supply Distance - a structural unit of the Southeast Directorate of Support - a structural unit of Transenergo, a branch of Open Joint-Stock Company “Russian Railways”, also competed for the title of the best electrician.
The competition was held at Tambovenergo’s training ground and consisted of several stages: for the beginning, the contestants had to demonstrate good knowledge of the existing rules, instructions and norms, and then show their practical skills. The electricians showed the skill to eliminate the fire in the security zone of a 10 kV overhead line in the event of a piece of wire breakage and falling to the ground and replaced the ShF-20 insulator with double attachment of the wire. In addition, the contestants climbed the 0.4 kV overhead line with a portable grounding installation and provided first aid to the injured person using a simulator dummy.
The unconditional leaders of the competition were Dmitry Lukyanenko, who took the first place, with a small margin from him in the second and third places were Alexander Shherbakov and Alexander Bezzubtsev - electricians for operation of distribution grids of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division. Now they will go to defend the honour of the region at the federal stage of the competition.
“We have to work in the heat and in the cold. With our specialty, the worse the weather - the more work. Physical training is of great importance, and a decade of experience reinforced self-confidence and brought me victory,” Dmitry Lukyanenko shares his impressions.
“Every electrician sought to show all his skills and abilities. I hope that the professional skill competitions will be an excellent basis for the exchange of experience, which will be used in daily activities,” stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
