Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division have completed the connection to the Company’s grids of the new micro-district “Sloboda” in the northern part of the city of Tambov. The work was carried out within the framework of the strategy of social and economic development of the Tambov region, one of the main tasks of which is to improve the living conditions of the population by increasing the volume of housing construction and creating comfortable living conditions.
In total, ten residential buildings for 700 apartments with a total residential area of about 13.5 thousand square metres were erected in the “Sloboda” neighbourhood in the north of Tambov. To ensure their power supply, the branch “Tambovenergo” designed and constructed a 6 kV high-voltage line from 110/6 kV substation No. 8 of the city of Tambov to a 6/0.4 kV transformer substation of the customer. The total connected capacity of the micro-district facilities was 2.11 MW.
Along with this, IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continues to actively participate in the provision of the electric grid infrastructure of several large micro-districts built in recent years in the north of Tambov, the most modern and dynamically developing part of the city. In particular, work continues on the grid connection of individual residential buildings in the “Maysky” micro-district. These works are carried out within the framework of the implementation of the Program of State Support for Large Families in the Russian Federation, which presumes the allocation of land plots to them for free-of-charge for individual housing construction and for the maintenance of their subsidiary farming. To ensure the power supply of facilities of the micro-district, the power engineers installed 26 transformer substations with a total capacity of 2.66 MVA, constructed more than 65 km of 10/0.4 kV overhead power lines.
