Kurskenergo started mass repair work

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division carry out the main activities of the repair program for 2019.

At present, the power engineers perform repairs on equipment of the substations 35/10 kV “Turovka”, 35/10 kV “Kultprosvet”, 35/10 kV “Ivanino”, which provide electricity to large industrial and social facilities in Oboyansky, Glushkovsky and Kurchatovsky districts.

The repair crews of the branch also started repairing the lengthy sections of 35-110 kV transmission lines “Gakhovo-Dolzhenkovo”, “Rylsk-Glushkovo”, “Razvetye-Mikhaylovka”, “Lgov-Konyshevka circuit 1”, “Marino-Selectionnaya”, “Vyazovoye - Stakanovo” in Medvensky, Zheleznogorsky, Rylsky, Glushkovsky, Lgovsky, Konyshevsky and Schigrovsky districts.

To date, repair of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines with a total length of 509.6 km has been completed, while the ground wire 0.59 km, and 4,265 insulators have been replaced. In addition, 341.56 hectares of routes along 0.4-110 kV overhead lines have been cleared of trees and shrubs. Repair of 61 switches of 35-110 kV, 78 transformer substations of 10/0.4, 64 transformers of 10/0.4 kV has been completed.

Until the end of this year, Kurskenergo will overhaul 313 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV and 1,712.8 km of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV. It is planned to clear 786.6 hectares of routes along 0.4-110 kV overhead lines. 248.9 million rubles will be allocated to implement the repair program in 2019.

“The repair program is carried out by the branch’s specialists throughout the year, reaching a maximum in the summer period. Currently, all work is carried out in a timely manner. Implementation of the measures of the repair program will improve the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Kursk region, including during the period of the autumn-winter maximum load in 2019-2020,” notes the deputy chief engineer for production assets management and development of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division Alexander Muratov.
