27.05.2019

For the sixth year in a row, ROSSETI’s Group of Companies has held a drawing competition for children of its employees and the executive staff. Age of participants - from 5 to 14 years. This year, young artists were offered a choice of three themes: “ROSSETI - 6 years together!”, “Power engineering during the war years” and “Digital ROSSETI”.

The best works were selected of 250 entries submitted to the competition. The winners include children of Voronezhenergo’s employees: Anna Abramova (10 years old) and Sofia Nevzorova (13 years old). Both participants took the second places in their age categories.

Sophia, whose parents work at the Kalacheevsky section of the relay protection and emergency control automation department, dedicated her work to past events and called it “The Power of Victory”: “My picture depicts the restoration of the energy facilities destroyed by the war”.

Anna chose to refer to the image of the future of the Russian electric power industry and drew a digitalization map of electric grids in Russia.

“Today, no production process is complete without electricity. This means that the foundation of our profession is creation. It is symbolic that, even in works devoted to military topics, the children place an emphasis on rebuilding the economy. It is also pleasant to note that the children of our employees are close to their parents’ ideas, because the younger generation will have to live and work in the widespread implementation of digital technologies,” stressed Acting Director of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division Vyacheslav Antonov.
