IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the repair program for 4 months of 2019. All measures planned for the reporting period were completed in full and on time, which contributed to the trouble-free passage of the heating period of 2018-2019.
From January to April of the current year, Kostromaenergo’s specialists repaired over 65 km of 0.4 -110 kV overhead power lines, replaced about 2 thousand insulators. Equipment was repaired at 67 transformer substations. To ensure reliable power supply to consumers, more than 630 hectares of routes along power lines of various voltage levels were cleared from trees and shrubs.
In total, as part of the repair campaign of the current year, Kostromaenergo’s specialists will have to repair over 260 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines and 590 transformer substations. Equipment overhaul is also planned at 23 substations of 35 and 110 kV voltage levels. In order to prevent emergencies, it is planned to clear more than 1,700 hectares of routes along overhead power lines from trees and shrubs.
