Employees of Tambovenergo visited the North Caucasus

20.05.2019

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division, members of the enterprise trade union, and their family members went on an excursion to Karachay-Cherkessia. The bus tour was organized by the management and the trade union organization of the branch.

The trip of the power engineers began with an acquaintance with the unique region of the North Caucasus - Dombai Glade. It is located at an altitude of more than 1,600 metres above sea level and is on the territory of the Teberdinsky State Reserve. From the slopes of the Musa-Achitara Mountain, where the tourists climbed with a cable car, they opened exceptional beauty views, amazing combination of colours and shadows. From here they were able to see the majestic panorama of the mountains with the summit of Dombai-Ulgen, more than 4,000 metres high, which is covered with eternal snows and glaciers.

After that, the Tambov power engineers visited the lake formed in the process of filling the rocky faults with water, which is located at an altitude of 2,800 metres above sea level. The Blue Lake is the largest in the reserve and one of the largest tarn lakes in the western Caucasus: the distance from coast to coast is 500 metres, and its depth is 52 metres.

“Dombai is a picturesque glade, the views of which fascinate: mountains, dark coniferous forests and emerald green of meadows, turbulent rivers, waterfalls, eternal snows and glaciers. The trip was very exciting and intense. During these few days I learned a lot about the picturesque places of our country,” Bogdan Yatskiv, a substation service engineer at the Michurinsky section of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division, shared his impressions.

“The management of Tambovenergo together with the trade union try to organize this kind of vacation as often as possible, because the excursions not only contribute to cultural development, but also allow to recuperate and unleash the potential of the workers. They also provide an excellent opportunity to communicate outside the strict framework and find common interests, which has a positive effect on the development and maintenance of corporate culture,” stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
