Belgorodenergo to invest 3.1 billion rubles with VAT in the regional electric grid complex

IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division has started implementation of the investment program of 2019. Power engineers are planning to commission 77 MVA of transformer capacity, to construct and reconstruct 591 km of 0.4-110 kV power lines. The volume of capital investments will amount to 3.1 billion rubles, including VAT.

Fixed assets will be used to increase reliability, reconstruct outdated grids, build infrastructure to connect individual housing construction sites, and implement digital transformation projects for the regional power grid complex.

This year, the branch will complete the project of comprehensive modernization of the 35/10 kV high-voltage substation “Nikolskoye” in Belgorodsky district. The first digital substation equipped with a highly reliable distributed system of relay protection and automation combined with an automated control system will appear in a densely populated suburb of the regional centre and will increase the reliability of power supply for about 10,000 consumers, several settlements, and socially significant facilities.

Another major project is being completed in Stary Oskol - the reconstruction of the 110 kV substation “Promyshlennaya”. Reliable power supply will be received by several category consumers at once: the Slavyanka confectionery factory, the Avida dairy plant, the pumping station of the Oskol water utility and others.

More than 400 million rubles with VAT were allocated for the reconstruction of lines in settlements. Large-scale works are planned in 17 villages and farms in 10 districts of the region. In total, 102 km of 0.4-10 kV lines will be replaced, 30 new transformer substations will be installed.

The program for the arrangement of individual housing construction sites with electric grid infrastructure is planned in the amount of 230 million rubles. 890 sites of private developers in Belgorod, Belgorodsky, Yakovlevsky, Alekseevsky districts and Starooskolsky urban district will be able to connect to the centralized power supply.

It is planned to allocate about 600 million rubles of investment funds for grid connection for the preferential category of applicants with a maximum capacity of up to 150 kW. The branch plans to connect dozens of social institutions and large facilities of the agro-industrial complex of the region, working under the program of import substitution.

As part of the digital transformation program of the electric grid complex, the branch has already begun to create a distributed automated control system for 6-10 kV grids, equip transformer substations of 6-10 kV transformer substations with telemetry devices, and create the first in the Belgorod power system digital Distribution Zone. In particular, in Borisovsky district already this year all 332 transformer substations will be equipped with telemetry devices, 100% of 0.4 kV inputs are equipped with intelligent metering devices for the AMR system (automated metering system of electricity), 13 reclosers and 37 sets of controlled disconnectors, which in case of emergency situations will instantly disconnect the faulty section of the grid and reserve most of the load.

About 100 million rubles were allocated for the creation of the first “digital” Distribution Zone.
