Power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division showed a high level of professional training and were able to restore as soon as possible the power supply disturbed by the thunderstorm cyclone that passed through the territory of the region. At the moment, all the 110, 35 and 10 kV power lines in the service area of Voronezhenergo are operating normally.
Please, be reminded that on the night of 10-11 May, due to a thunderstorm cyclone, local technological disruptions in the operation of power lines were recorded, mainly in Novousmansky, Ramonsky and Kashirsky districts of the Voronezh region. IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division introduced a high alert mode, and then a special mode of operation, meaning full mobilization of power engineering personnel and facilities. Repair crews of Voronezhenergo started the rapid elimination of technological violations from the very beginning of the bad weather. Their actions were coordinated by the operational headquarters under the leadership of Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division director Vyacheslav Antonov. More than 20 crews of the branch of over 70 people and 36 vehicles were involved in the power supply restoration.
“Thanks to the clear and well-coordinated work of our specialists, we were able to quickly detect and restore all damaged sections of electrical grids. Due to this, the special operation mode in the branch was cancelled already in the morning of 11 May, and by the evening of the same day the high-alert mode was also removed. At the moment, the electric grid complex is functioning normally,” stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division director Vyacheslav Antonov.
