Kostromaenergo held qualifying competitions of professional skills of crews for repair of distribution grids

Qualifying competitions of professional skills of crews for repair and maintenance of 0.4 - 10 kV distribution grids passed at the training ground of the Kostroma Power Engineering School named after F.V. Chizhov. Specialists from specialized crews fought for the right to be called the best, who had taken the first places in competitions in their units. These are the crews of Kostromsky, Pavinsky, Mezhevsky and Soligalichsky Distribution Zones.

There are six stages in the competition program: checking knowledge of regulatory documents on technical operation, labour protection, industrial and fire safety; releasing the person affected by the action of electric current on the anchor reinforced concrete pole of 10 kV by grounding the overhead line wires; conducting resuscitation actions on a simulator dummy; replacement of a defective insulator on the anchor-angular reinforced concrete pole of the 10 kV overhead line; maintenance of the disconnector type RLND-10 on the 10 kV overhead line pole, using an aerial platform; replacement of the 10 kV bushing insulator at the package transformer substation - 10/0.4 kV, fire extinguishing at the package transformer substation - 10/0.4 kV.

The level of training of competitors is assessed by the main panel of judges and teams of judges at the stages. As a result, the winner was the crew of Pavinsky Distribution Zone. Their colleagues from Kostromsky Distribution Zone took the second place, and the third were representatives of Mezhevsky Distribution Zone.

The winners were awarded certificates and prizes by Director of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division Dmitry Prokhorov.

The winning crew of the final competitions will receive the honorary right to represent the branch at the competitions of repair and maintenance crews of distribution grids of IDGC of Centre, which will be held in Lipetsk.
