For three months Kostromaenergo collected in court from defaulters more than 10 million rubles for the electricity transmitted

30.04.2019

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division summed up the results of the first quarter of 2019 to collect accounts receivable for electricity transmission services. An important direction of this work was the claim-related activity.

For 3 months, specialists of Kostromaenergo’s legal unit submitted 9 claims to collect receivables totalling more than 8.1 million rubles to the court. In 5 cases, including claims submitted earlier, decisions were made to collect 10.1 million rubles in favour of the company.

Currently, in the production of courts of various instances there are 27 claims of power engineers against unfair payers for a total amount of 261 million rubles.

However, despite all the efforts, the level of overdue receivables of Kostromaenergo remains high: as of 1 April, it was 410.2 million rubles. The entire amount falls on two debtors: PJSC “Kostroma Sales Company” (383.3 million rubles) and OJSC “Oboronenergosbyt” (26.9 million rubles).

It should be noted that the actions of defaulters threaten the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the region, since the funds received by Kostromaenergo for providing electricity transmission services are used, among other things, to implement production programs. The company will consistently continue the work to collect accounts receivable, using all mechanisms provided for by the current legislation.
