Governor of the Belgorod Region Yevgeny Savchenko presented the state award to an employee of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division.
For merits in the field of energy and many years of diligent work on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 27 February 2019, the honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” was awarded to the head of the central diagnostic laboratory Yury Belogurov.
“This is a well-deserved assessment of the high professional return of the people who make up the pride of our region. Thanks to such employees as Yury Belogurov, the stable work and development of the Belgorod energy system is ensured,” Yevgeny Savchenko noted.
Yury Belogurov has been working at Belgorodenergo for 35 years. He was directly involved in the development of the central diagnostic laboratory. Every year, under his leadership, thermal imaging monitoring is carried out at 180 substations of 35-110 kV and 276 power lines with a total length of 4,350 kilometres. In 2017, he participated in the technical audit of Krymenergo’s facilities. He identified 45 defects of contact connections and equipment of substations of the Crimean Peninsula.
State awards are the highest estimate of the labour merits of power engineers.
