The first Lipetsk electric vehicle powered at the charging station

Already three electric charging stations have been installed on the territory of the Lipetsk region.

The owner of the car Nissan Leaf became the first customer of the charging station, located on the 448 km of the Don highway in Khlevensky district. It was installed in 2017, but still has not been claimed by motorists. Artem Polyakov, the owner of the electric car, was the first to use the charging station: “If I run out of battery power on the way to Voronezh, I can recharge here without any problems and get to the goal without any problems”.

The resident of the Lipetsk region has owned the electric vehicle for several years. The battery lasts for 150 kilometres. This, according to Artem Polyakov, is quite enough for economical and environmentally friendly trips around the city. He charges the battery in the garage. Now in the Lipetsk region there is also infrastructure created for long-distance travel.

In total, today IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division has installed three charging stations on the Don highway. Two of them are currently under commissioning: this is the 449 km of the M4 motorway in Khlevensky district, and also the 417 km in Zadonsky district.

In late May, Lipetskenergo will complete the commissioning of another charging station directly in the regional capital. It is located near the shopping centre “Europe” on Sovetskaya street.
