IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division draws the attention of consumers to the importance of installing individual electricity metering devices. In the absence of meters, the energy sales company determines the amount of electricity consumption by applying calculation methods. Thus, the absence of an individual electricity metering device will entail additional costs.
According to the current Russian legislation, payments for energy resources should be made on the basis of data on their quantitative value, determined by metering devices. In accordance with Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 442 of 4 May 2012 “On the functioning of retail electricity markets, complete and (or) partial restriction of the mode of consumption of electrical energy”, it is the responsibility of consumers to install electricity metering devices and keep them in good condition.
Tambovenergo recommends its consumers to install electricity meters and pay for electricity only for real energy consumption. Tambovenergo’s specialists install or replace an electric meter. To do this, the consumer should submit an appropriate application in any way convenient for him: via the feedback form on IDGC of Centre’s website at www.mrsk-1.ru, by calling the single phone of the contact centre at 8-800-50-50-115 (toll-free) or by contacting points for work with consumers in Distribution Zones.
