Smolenskenergo held the Day of the operator

IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division held the Day of the operator, which was attended by employees of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre, Distribution Zones, of the substation service and the office of industrial safety and production control. The venue was traditionally the base of Smolensky, Roslavlsky, Safonovsky and Vyazemsky Distribution Zones.

The event was held on the eve of mass repair work - the active period of work on the preparation of power equipment for the autumn-winter period. “The Day of the operator contributes to maintaining the necessary level of qualification of the operating personnel, raising the level of operational discipline, reducing the risks of erroneous actions of the operating personnel and injuries. We hold such events twice a year,” commented Sergey Shumarov, the deputy chief engineer for operational-technological and situational management of the branch.

During the Day of the operator, attention was paid to the implementation of operational switching, maintenance of operational documentation and operational talks, elimination of failures.
