IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the energy saving and energy efficiency program for the 1st quarter of 2019. The total effect from the implementation of the Program’s activities was 681.8 thousand kWh.
The largest amount of savings - 374.2 thousand kWh - was obtained from the implementation of organizational measures, including equalization of phase loads in distribution grids of 0.38 kV, disconnection of transformers in low load conditions at substations with two or more transformers and transformers with seasonal load.
Thanks to technical measures: replacing wires with a larger section on overloaded power lines of 0.4 kV and power lines of 10 kV, replacing wires of overhead lines in residential buildings with self-supporting insulated wire (SIW) they saved 307.6 thousand kWh.
To reduce the amount of energy consumption for utility needs in the branch, work was carried out to replace incandescent lamps with energy-saving LEDs. In total, 484 lighting fixtures and lamps were replaced, the effect of this work was 40.97 thousand kWh.
The savings from the implementation of the program of energy saving and energy efficiency of Kurskenergo are used, among other things, to solve the main production tasks, development of the electric grid infrastructure, improvement of settlements, ensuring a comfortable life for residents of the Kursk region.
