In 2018, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division provided electricity to 37 small and medium-sized businesses in the Smolensk region. The maximum capacity of grid connection was 6.63 MW.
The largest facilities for which the power engineers performed an increase in power in 2018, were the manufacturing production of OJSC “Promtekhmontazh” in the city of Smolensk (the maximum power was 700 kW) and LLC “Red Star” in Kardymovsky district (the maximum power was 450 kW). The power engineers provided lighting of the production base and workshop.
Among the new large grid connections are the connection of manufacturing facilities in Kholm-Zhirkovsky district (380 kW) and equipment of a shop for processing meat semi-finished products of LLC “Zhitnitsa” in Gagarinsky district (256 kW).
Also, in the list of business facilities connected for the year are facilities of construction, wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles, agriculture and forestry, and others.
