3,886 customers were connected to Smolenskenergo’s grids in 2018

Following the results of 2018, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division connected 3,886 customers (of which 549 legal entities) to power grids. The total capacity of grid connection contracts executed during the reporting period was 64.48 MW. 

In total for the year, the branch received 5,163 applications from customers for connection of power installations to the grids of the energy company. The largest number of applications was from privileged groups of customers* – 98.4% of the total number.

The largest customer connected to Smolenskenergo’s grids this year was the Perinatal Centre in the city of Smolensk with a capacity of 2.29 MW.

And in order to submit an application, it is enough for the customer to go from the tab “Grid connection” on the main page of the company’s website to the tab “Personal account” or in the section “Customers/Customer Services” go to the tab “Personal account of the client”. In addition to this service, a client can submit an application for grid connection using the official Portal of electric grid services. The portal has a cost calculator with which the client has the opportunity to calculate the cost of grid connection.
