Over 1,200 Voronezhenergo’s employees to be trained in 2019

More than 1,200 employees of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division will be retrained in 2019 and will improve their qualifications within the framework of the personnel development program at the enterprise. Voronezhenergo will allocate about 11 million rubles for the personnel training.

Most of the branch’s employees will traditionally be received by the training centre “Energetik” in Voronezh - about a thousand people will be trained here. They will improve the skills of safe work and labour protection, will be retrained and have advanced training in the specialties “master of maintenance and operation of metering equipment”, “electrician of distribution grids”, “electrician of the first responding mobile crew", "slinger", "forest feller" and others.

Voronezhenergo’s specialists will also upgrade their qualifications in other educational institutions of additional professional education in Voronezh, as well as Ivanovo, Moscow and St. Petersburg. New knowledge will be obtained by dispatchers, relay engineers, metrologists, diagnosticians and authorized representatives for labour protection and safety. It is planned to train drivers who will master the program “Defensive driving” in the Voronezh United Technical School of DOSAAF of Russia.

Since the beginning of this year, 20 employees have already received training on the program: “Electrical grid operation”, another 20 people on the program: “Grid connection of electrical installations and work with customers”, which was conducted by teachers of the Federal Budgetary Educational Institution “Educational and Methodical Office” of Rostechnadzor. Another 6 workers received the qualification of a first-aid instructor at the scene of an accident at the Centre for Pre-Hospital Medical Aid.

In 2019, technical specialists and managers of Voronezhenergo will expand their professional competences to effectively implement the Digital Transformation Concept of PJSC ROSSETI, implemented on behalf of President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The chief engineer of Voronezhenergo, as part of the first group of technical managers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, was trained in the new advanced training program “Basics of the IEC 61850 standard. Current state and development prospects for digital substations”.

The training of specialists took place at the site of the advanced educational institution of the energy specialization - Ivanovo State Power Engineering University (ISPU). During the training, the chief engineers of the branches studied the following topics: the concept of innovative development of the electric power industry “Intelligent electric power system with smart grid”, the structure of the digital substation, the IEC 61850 standard.

Within the framework of this advanced training program, heads of relay protection and automation services and subdivisions for development and operation of the branch’s automated dispatching management systems, specialists and engineers directly involved in setting up and maintaining digital equipment will also be trained this year.
