Kostromaenergo met representatives of small and medium-sized businesses on grid connection issues

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division held a meeting on connection to grids of power installations with a capacity of 15-150 kW. The event was attended by representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the Kostroma region, the leadership of Kostromaenergo and relevant subdivisions of the branch.

Opening the meeting, the head of the grid connection department Yury Gorikhin spoke about the results of the branch’s work on grid connection for 2018. In particular, he noted that during this period Kostromaenergo executed 122 grid connection contracts - by 81 more than in 2017. Such statistics indicate the growing demand for grid connection services among the business community, the head of the department said.

Yury Gorikhin informed those present about the measures taken by Kostromaenergo to simplify the process of grid connection, increase the transparency of relations with consumers. He said that the duration of the implementation of grid connection measures was reduced from 118 to 80 days. For some categories of consumers an interest-free installment plan is provided for payment for grid connection for 3 years.

They told representatives of small and medium-sized businesses about the grid connection service on a turnkey basis, when energy company takes on all the activities that are part of the consumer’s duties under the grid connection. This service guarantees the client high quality of work performed, saves time, allows to quickly complete all the procedures for grid connection of the facility.

The entrepreneurs were also told about the possibility of using interactive services of the client’s personal account on the website of IDGC of Centre and the portal of electric grid services “портал-тп.рф”, which become more and more popular every year. Thus, the number of requests to the branch via Internet resources in 2018 increased by 30%, compared with 2017 (2017 - 1,183 requests, in 2018 - 1,538 requests). It is the use of the “Personal Account” interactive service that is especially convenient for the “Small and medium business” consumer category, since first of all it saves the time of the entrepreneur. Without a personal visit to the service office, it is possible to submit an application; in an online mode the consumer can track the status of the submitted application, familiarize himself with the terms of the grid connection agreement, sign an agreement (if there is an electronic signature from a legal entity), receive and pay the bill, apply for provision of value-added services.

In the conclusion, the power engineers answered the questions of the meeting participants, which mainly concerned payment for grid connection, deadlines for the work, new services provided by the grid company. Kostromaenergo’s experts supported the small business initiative to hold such events regularly, as undoubtedly important for both parties.
