Tambovenergo’s employees visited the sturgeon breeding complex

25.03.2019

Last weekend, an excursion was organized for employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division to the region’s first closed-type fish farm for breeding valuable species “Tambov Sturgeon”, for which grid connection was performed.

The enterprise is located on the banks of the Tsna River in the Gorelsky forestry, where the second phase of the complex is currently operational: several water-filled incubators. Since the opening, 30 tons of products have been sold, mainly catfish and trout, and in the near future it is planned to bring to the market more valuable breeds of the sturgeon family and black caviar. As a result, the full production cycle will be adjusted here: from caviar cultivation to the production of 50 tons of marketable fish per year. The company plans to implement it both in the Tambov region and in the neighbouring regions.

To ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply of the complex, Tambovenergo’s specialists constructed an overhead power line with a length of 1.72 km, connecting the facility with the 35/10 kV substation “Gorelskaya”. The work was completed in June 2017, when the first phase was put into operation.

“We try to pay great attention to the rest of our employees, so we do not miss the opportunity to organize their leisure. Full rest unites the team and further contributes to high-quality and fruitful work,” stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
