By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 27 February 2019, the head of the diagnostic laboratory Yury Belogurov and an electrician for operation of electricity meters of Korochansky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division Yury Kushnarev were awarded the honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” for achievements in the field of energy and many years of honest work.
Yury Belogurov has been working at Belgorodenergo for almost 35 years. He took direct part in the development of the central diagnostic laboratory, professionally mastered the methods of chromatographic analysis of transformer oil and thermal control of 6-110 kV equipment, independently performs work on the diagnosis of overhead lines and substations by thermography. Every year, under his leadership, employees of the diagnostic laboratory conduct thermal imaging control of 180 substations of 35-110 kV and 276 power lines with a total length of 4,350 kilometres. In 2017, the experience and knowledge of the head of the Belgorod diagnostic laboratory were required to conduct a technical audit of facilities of Krymenergo. With the participation of Yury Belogurov, 45 defects of contact connections and equipment of substations of the Crimean Peninsula were identified.
Yury Kushnarev has been working in the energy sector for 33 years, today he works as an electrician for operation of electricity meters in Korochansky Distribution Zone. He participated in the development of power supply schemes and connection of dozens of livestock and poultry complexes and socially significant facilities to the grids, made a significant contribution to the implementation of an automated system for commercial metering of electricity in the region, and personally installed more than 200 smart metering devices. He repeatedly participated in the elimination of weather disasters, the restoration of electricity supply after passing atmospheric cyclones.
Yury Belogurov and Yury Kushnarev share knowledge and experience accumulated over many years of work in the energy sector of the region with young specialists, forming a future shift of qualified specialists.
