Power engineers caught businessmen on non-metered electricity consumption.
An electronic device that stops the meter was found in the metering device of the mineral water bottling plant in Izmalkovsky district. Employees of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division came to the company with a planned instrumental check and found that the seals were broken, and the meter itself was “improved”.
The power engineers drew up an act of non-metered consumption. According to the calculations of specialists, the enterprise that positions itself on the Internet as an official partner of the World Cup uncontrolledly consumed 67 thousand kWh of electricity. The “modified” meter was dismantled, the businessmen’s attempt to save will cost 200 thousand rubles for under the non-metered consumption act.
“This is the second company, which we have caught with interference in the metering device since the beginning of the year. We also found an electronic device that stops the meter at the farm in the village of Pozharovo. For some reason, businessmen are convinced that such an intervention cannot be detected. In fact, Lipetskenergo has enough modern technology and competent specialists to identify and prove any distortion of readings of electricity metering devices,” said Pavel Ryaguzov, the deputy chief for sales of services at Izmalkovsky Distribution Zone.
It should be added that in the first month of this year alone specialists of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division found 72 cases of attempts to steal electricity totalling 1.7 million rubles.
